Vijay and Prakash Raj are acting together once again after a period of 14 years. They previously worked together in Ghilli (2004), Sivakaasi (2005), Aathi (2006), Pokkiri (2007), and Villu (2009). Vijay and R. Sarathkumar's voices are dubbed by TV actors Sachin Tyagi and Eijaz Khan respectively in the Hindi version.
