Zeffo

Third Visit

This is mostly for cleaning up the chests, secrets and other exploration bits that we've missed/couldn't access until now.

Once you land on Zeffo, we want to head to the Ice Caves. To get here, leave the Mantis and go right. scale the grassy slope and cross a pipe. At the bottom on the other side, you'll see two Scazz fighting over a Stormtrooper's body. Take them out and then jump up to the platform behind them, leading to a door. Enter this door to find a Meditation Circle.

From here, just onto the ice slope in front of you and slide down, using Slow on the turbines to pass them. Take out the Rocket Trooper on your left when you reach the bottom, then deal with the Scout Trooper. Further along the bridge is a Phillak which you must also defeat. Continue along the path and jump a small gap. Take the shortcut rope up a level and at the top immediately turn right and run along the edge of this platform. There's a Jotaz up the top here, but you don't have to fight it if you don't want to.

You'll reach the end of the cliff and should be able to see a rope hanging in the distance. Double jump towards it and use Pull to grab the rope, then swing over and repeat these gestures to grab the next rope. Land on the platform on the other side for a Stim Canister chest (Secret #11/14).

Retrace your steps, well, your swings. Back at the top, jump down the platform you were previously on, then jump up a level to reach the next platform and take out the two Scazz here. Slow the two turbines as you cross them and wallrun to the other side. You'll have to take out a Heavy Assault Trooper and a Scout Trooper. After doing so, turn right and you'll spot your next Chest (#32/43)

About face and enter the yellow lift behind you. At the top, you'll find a Meditation Circle ahead of you. Use it if you want, then head into the corridor next to you. Swim through the water and out the other side, where you'll reach the Venator Crash Site. You'll recall we briefly visited here earlier, but now we can explore the whole wreckage. Run down the slope in front of you and hop into the water.

Now we have the rebreather, we can explore under the water. There are a few chests down here and the directions are a little awkward. From the bottom of the slope, turn around and face the other way;

Jump into the water in front of you and dive down. Hug the wall on your right, then part way around and slightly up, you'll find an underwater alcove containing a Chest (#33/43). I opened it before I saved the screenshot Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (4)

Return to the slope and now look this way;

Dive into the water and swim towards to the gap in the ring in front of you. Dive down and you'll find your next Chest (#34/43)

Return to the slope for a final time and look this way;

Stay on the surface of the water. Swim forwards towards the land outcrop on your left. Around here:

When you reach this, dive down and hug the wall on your left. Swim along until you come across a large patch of light on the ocean floor.

Keep following the left wall past this. go straight and you'll come across another smaller patch of light.

Right behind this light is your next Chest (#35/43). If you want to make extra sure you've got this one, I received a Lightsaber Switch called Elemental Nature.

From here, turn around. Swim back to the large patch of light and follow it to the left. You'll swim between two large broken pieces of exhaust port. Once you do so and see land in front of you, turn left. Swim all the way along this underwater tunnel and turn right at the end. In the distance, you should see your next Chest (#36/43). This one gave me an Emitter called Elemental Nature.

From this chest, turn around then surface. Climb onto the low piece of ground on your left and kill the two Phillak's here. Turn left (past a chest you opened on a previous visit to Zeffo) and go through a large gap in the wreckage to reach more water;

Jump off this edge into the water. Dive under the water's surface and on the bottom, you'll see a much larger patch of light. Roughly follow the line between the dark and the light along the floor and in the distance on your left in the light, you'll spot another Chest (#37/43). My one contained Lightsaber Material: Polished Bronzium.

After this, surface and climb out of the water onto the central piece of land, where a Jotaz is patrolling in the centre. Before approaching the Jotaz, go to the right of this piece of land and look at the gap in the circle of debris;

Jump into the water and submerge, then pass through this gap, directly on your left, is another Chest (#38/43).

That's all the underwater chests here collected.

From your current location, you can either climb up and defeat the Jotaz, or you can just swim around the inside of this platform and head back towards the slope you came down earlier. From here, look right and climb up onto the landmass. You may have another Jotaz to defeat here, but I luckily didn't.

Climb up the metal grating on your left and run forwards. Use BD-1 to Overcharge the forcefield and squeeze through the gap. Slice through the pipes, climb up the stairs and squeeze through the gap at the end. Slow the fan blades and fall down to take out your last Legendary Creature, the Rabid Jotaz. This fight is like fighting any other Jotaz, but this one is stronger, although slower. Wait for it to attack then dodge out of the way and land a few blows of your own. Your Split Saber attack is good here as it deals a tonne of damage. Once you defeat this final legendary creature, you'll pop;

Make sure you scan the corpse as well, where you'll unlock the last entry for Zeffo (Zeffo Enemy Type #6/6 - Rabid Jotaz)

Look around this lower level for a wall you can Push through, then do so. Follow the path around, taking out the Skungus and Scazz as you go, then drop down the hole at the end. Take out the Scazz in this room then use BD-1 to Overcharge the nearby panel. This opens a door opposite. Leave the room and cross the water, then go through the door. Go through the corridor and take out the Scazz. Before jumping to the overhead beam, wade into the water and dive down. Straight ahead of you will be another Chest (#39/43)

Leave the water and now use the overhead beam to shimmy over to the next platform. Follow the path and Push through the next door. As soon as you do, you'll be attacked by a Security Droid from your left. After dealing with that, look left to see the spinning turbine. Use Overcharge to make sure the power is off in the water and swim to the other side. Take out the Scazz, then cut the electrical cables on the right side of this platform. Swim back to the other side. Before you exit, look at the turbine on your left, use Overcharge to get it spinning then use Overcharge again to make it stop at roughly this angle;

Once it's like that, swim over to it and climb onto the turbine. Look to your left and you'll see an alcove in the wall. Climb up into it and collect the Force Echo. Leave the alcove and return to the panel, then Overcharge it to open the door opposite. Once again swim over and exit via the door, taking the lift upwards. At the top, you'll immediately see a Force Echo, which doubles as another Secret (#12/14)

Overcharge the panel to leave the area. Slow the spinning turbine blades to reach the door and squeeze through the gap. Jump over the edge of the stairway to the floor. You may find a Haxion Brood Bounty Hunter here, kill them if you do. Push out of the door to return to the central Crash Site area.

Swim to the central area where the Jotaz is/was patrolling. Climb onto the metal debris around that Jotaz. Walk around it, balancing on the thing beam where needed, then jump to the grating and climb up. Balance across the next thin beam and take out the Probe Droid that attacks you. Don't go towards the Probe Droid though, instead, once it's taken out, double jump forwards to climb up onto a new level of the Venator debris. Double jump and climb forward twice more to be able run into one of the Venators Exhaust Shafts. As soon as you go inside, you'll start sliding down a slope. On this slope, you'll come across a couple of sets of 2 small holes. One of them will fire up and blast some electricity, make sure you don't go through that one. You'll also have a few electrical pillars to avoid and a couple of times wreckage will block your way and you'll need to Push through it.

Once you reach the water at the bottom, you're officially inside the Venator.

In the water at the bottom, swim forward towards the pipe and dive underneath it. Stay underwater until you pass two dead floating Clone Troopers and go through another hole in the debris. Surface the other side and climb onto the circular platform on your left, where you'll find your next Meditation Circle.

Jump off the opposite side of this platform and swim towards the downed LAAT/i (the clone trooper transport ship ahead of you). As you approach it, look left and you'll spot a hole in the wreckage. Swim towards it and climb out when you get there. Look left down this gap and you'll spot your next Chest (#40/43)

Return to the Meditation Circle and use the higher end of this platform to jump up to two horizontal metal bars, then take out the Scazz that attack you on the next platform. With your back to the water, climb up the metal bars on your left to find a Force Echo, then jump back down and climb up the metal bars opposite to continue. Take out a Probe Droid at the top, then turn right and take out another.

Jump the gap to the metal grating and follow it left and up. Clamber onto the next platform and balance on the pipes. Wallrun over to the next platform and take out the Stormtroopers and Electrobaton Purge Trooper on the other side. After killing them, turn right and use the metal beam to cross to the next platform. Look to your right and cut the cable to create a shortcut in case you fall. Turn around and use BD-1 to overcharge a panel and start a turbine spinning.

Use Slow on the turbine to cross over it and reach the opposite tunnel that is periodically electrified. Wait for the electricity to flick off and then progress through the tunnel. Kill the Scazz in the next room. Slow the turbine blade on the left to grab a Force Echo (and another Scazz will attack), then leave through the door opposite the turbine. This opens a shortcut. Head through the door and take out the Electrostaff Purge Trooper on the other side. Carry on directly across and into the next corridor. Take out the two Scout Troopers here then run through the electrical conduits and look right.

Climb on the grating here and follow it around, up and then shimmy along a metal beam and pull yourself up on the next platform. Cut the cable on your left to create another shortcut in case you fall, and look slightly up to Pull a tied-up length of cable towards you and use it to swing to the next cable you can see in the distance. You'll need to double jump and use Pull to reach it. On this second cable, instead of leaping to the doorway and tunnel ahead of you, turn left and swing to the upper platform to grab a Force Echo that is also a Secret (#13/14)

I struggled to jump and Pull the rope towards me from here, but apparently, it is possible. If you struggled like me, jump down to the platform below you, cross the metal beam and land on the platform where you created your first shortcut earlier. Take it down to the Meditation Circle, then swim around to the second shortcut cable that you created and take that back up to where you were next to the two swinging cables.

Swing over both and into the next tunnel through the open doorway. Balance across the metal beam and cut through the pipes ahead. Deal with the Rocket Trooper ahead of you. Wallrun over then leap to the metal beams in the wall and climb up to where the trooper was.

For the next wallrun, you'll have to watch the timing of the arcing electrical bolts before you make your move. Once you've got the timing down, double wallrun over to the platform. At the other end, you'll need to take out an Electrobaton Purge Trooper and a Scout Trooper. Turn left and Push through the wall, then climb up the rope all the way to the top. Jump off and use the next Meditation Circle at the top.

Head right and cut through the piping, collecting the Force Echo on the other side. Go through the doors on your left and you'll have a quick puzzle to solve. Push the platform block all the way to the right side, then overcharge the panel on your left. Climb onto the block then up to the nextly created platform. Jump to the second platform then cut the thick cable hanging there. From this new platform, about-face and wall run back to the block. Push it once towards the opposite end of the platform, near the Overcharge panel. It'll end up in the middle of the rail it's on.

Push it once more and then immediately use Slow on it. Once you've done this, quickly jump onto it and wallrun on the hanging wall to reach the suspended durasteel crate on the other side. From here, leap to the next platform and go through the door. In this next room you'll have to kill two Stormtrooepr Commanders and a Jotaz, who are already in the process of taking each other down. After wiping them all out, first, collect the Force Echo in the middle of the room. Turn right and in the corner of the room you'll spot your next Chest (#41/43)

Return to where the echo was and just beyond it you'll spot another Chest (#42/43)

Then finally turn right to see a final Chest (#43/43)

Collect these then run up the ramp to the outside, where you'll unlock;

  • Visiting Alderaan Places

    Explored the crashed Venator

    Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (31)

    2 guidesGuide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (32)Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (33)

Once outside, turn left and jump down two platforms to collect the final Secret (#14/14)

If you've been following the walkthrough to this point, this will also be your tenth Stim Canister for BD-1, which is the max you can have. For this, you'll unlock;

  • Medical Droid

    Found all of BD-1's stim canisters

    Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (35)

    2 guidesGuide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (36)Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (37)Guide for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (38)

Check your map and Zeffo should now be Explored, with 43/43 chests and 14/14 secrets.

Jump off the edge of the platform, down to the exhaust port containing two Probe Droids. Run along it and drop to the platform below, then jump into the water below. Swim over to the slope you used to enter this area at the start of this page. Head up the slope, then down into the caves. Swim along the path and out the tunnel on the other side. Use the Meditation Circle, enter the next room and use then use the slope on your left.

Take out the Scazz, Scout Trooper and Rocket Trooper at the bottom, then use the yellow lift next to where the Rocket Trooper was. Leave the lift at the top and take the door to the right of the Meditation Circle. Follow the path, taking out the Scazz and crossing a pipe, then descending down a slope and returning to the Mantis.

I interacted with Merrin, Cere and Greez before boarding. Once on the ship, use the Holotable. At this point, you should have collected all the chests and secrets, as well as fully explored the following; Zeffo, Dathomir, Kashyyyk and Ilum. The only place remaining is Bogano.

Choose Bogano as your destination and be on your way.
