Sadly, Taco Bell removed their limited-time, delicious Vegan Nacho Cheese from the menu Thursday October 19th, 2023.
I am lactose-intolerant and a vegan, and like many others, I struggle to find satisfying vegan options at most fast food restaurants. This is not just my personal challenge, but a reality for the growing population of vegans and lactose-intolerant folks worldwide.
Taco Bell has been a pioneer among fast food chains by offering customizable menus and some vegetarian options. However, we believe it's time for them to take another progressive step by permanently adding vegan nacho cheese to their menu.
This addition would not only cater to existing vegan customers but also encourage more people towards plant-based diets which are proven beneficial for health and environment alike (according to studies published in The Lancet).
