20 Best Looking Cars, Trucks, And SUVs Of 2020 (2024)

Alfa Romeo Giulia

The Alfa Romeo Giulia is one seriously good-looking sports sedan. The hot Quadrifoglio with its flared fenders and big wheels is the best-looking of the bunch. But even the base model's chiseled design and perfect proportions make it an extremely eye-catching sedan in its own right. This Alfa's calling card – like all Alfas – is its triangular nose piece. And that signature schnozz gives the sports sedan a unique look that you won't find elsewhere in the segment.

Aston Martin DBS Superleggera

Just look at it… the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is certifiably stunning. The latest in a long lineage of gorgeous Aston Martin vehicles, the Superleggera's massive grille, long vented hood, and sultry hips check all the right boxes. It's even better with the coupe’s optional carbon fiber roof to offset one of the many great body colors on offer, like the Volcano Red example pictured here.

Audi RS6 Avant

Though it won't go on sale in the U.S. until later in the year, the Audi RS6 Avant gets our nod as one of the best-looking wagons on the planet. Wearing the latest in Audi's sharp design language, the RS6 uses the angular styling exceptionally well – the six-sided grille, slim headlights, and large directional 10-spoke wheels give the Audi a very sporty look. This is one of the fastest five-doors on the planet, and it looks like it.

Bentley Continental GT

The 2020 Bentley Continental GT takes the previous model's already eye-catching styling cues and enhances them. Key features like the quad round headlights carry over – only now they're sleeker and sharper – while the latest Conti gets brand-new features like a bigger grille, oval-shaped taillights, and sharp wheel options for a more distinctive look. And the addition of an optional Blackline Specification ups the styling even further with dark accents.

Dodge Charger Widebody

The Dodge Charger was already an attractive sedan without the extra-wide hips. But for 2020, the inclusion of the widebody option (for the Scat Pack and Hellcat models) makes the four-door even more fearsome. The extra 3.3 inches of sheet metal over the wheels improve the Charger's aggressive look, and the elements we loved of the previous model – like the mean headlights, gaping grille, and rear light bar – all carry over.

Ford GT Liquid Carbon

The Ford GT wowed us with its styling when it debuted new in 2017. But just when we thought the coupe couldn't get any better, the Ford GT Liquid Carbon Edition ups the supercar's already sumptuous styling. Draping the entire body in naked carbon fiber and a special clear coat designed to highlight each and every weave, this GT looks mean. Atop a matching pair of 10-spoke carbon fiber wheels, the GT Liquid Carbon looks like it's ready to take on any track.

Genesis G80

The new Genesis G80 doesn't hit the U.S. until the second half of 2020. But when it arrives, the sedan will sport the brand's sleek new design language, kickstarted by the GV80 SUV. The sedan’s new look starts up front with the massive shield grille and quad headlights. The side profile sports matching indicator lights, and on the rear, the LED taillights get an identical split look. Overall, the Genesis G80 is a svelte sedan with perfect proportions – and it should turn heads as soon as it hits the road.

Hyundai Sonata

Rarely does a mainstream sedan look this good. And yet, one of the main highlights of the latest Hyundai Sonata is the way it looks – that and "smaht pahk." The new Sonata is lower, wider, and longer than the previous model, and has much better proportions. And while the V-shaped grille and those angular headlights may not be unanimously loved, there's no disputing that the aggressive styling of the front fascia gives the Hyundai sedan a unique look.

Infiniti Q60

While not the newest car on this list (the current generation has been around since 2016), the Infiniti Q60's styling still holds up. Its angry eyes, enlarged grille, and svelte proportions gives it a sleek, stunning shape that few other sports coupes in that segment offer. It's even better in the eye-searing Dynamic Sunstone Red paint job.

Jaguar F-Type

Even with a facelift for the 2021 model year, the Jaguar F-Type still looks great. The front light fixtures are the only major element that are entirely new – though, they're still angry and angular. Otherwise, most of the same features we loved of the previous model carry over untouched: the grille, sharp taillights, and swooping profile. Even after all these years, the F-Type is still a looker.

Kia Telluride

One of the few crossovers on this list, the Kia Telluride gets all around high marks from us. But we especially like its rugged good looks. Distinguishable by its boxy profile, the brand's signature "Tiger Nose" grille, and its unique light fixtures, the Telluride adds a much-needed rugged quality to a class of three-row crossovers that could use the design help.

Lexus LC

If this were a ranked list, the Lexus LC might be at the top of it. This is an achingly beautiful sports car – and one of the few Lexus products that wears the brand's signature spindle grille well. The LC coupe has been the brand’s halo car since 2017, but this year Lexus peeled back the top and introduced the LC Convertible. Just when we thought this car couldn't get any prettier...

Lincoln Aviator

The Lincoln Aviator is one of just two crossovers on this list (joining the Kia Telluride), and the luxury three-row deserves its spot. The Aviator has a smooth, elegant shape emphasized by dramatic lighting effects and liberal use of chrome trim. It's rear end is unique, with a dramatic light bar that extends the width of the rear hatch.

Mazda3

Mazda has been hitting it out of the park with some of its latest designs, and the 3 – both the hatch and sedan – are two of the best-looking cars in their respective classes. Sporting the brand’s signature "Kodo" design language, the Mazda3 gets an aggressive sharklike nose highlighted by LED headlights and a large hexagonal grille with black mesh. The rest of the vehicle’s shape is about smoothness and simplicity – you won’t find many creases on the Mazda3.

McLaren 765LT

The McLaren 720S is definitely impressive, though we'd argue that the supercar's radical design isn't to everyone's liking. But for some reason, the changes made to the 720S to get the 765LT just… work. The extra length amplifies the supercar's sleek shape, the new wing makes it a bit more aggressive, and the extra carbon fiber up front certainly doesn't do the McLaren any harm stylistically. Other touches like the quad exhaust tips and front fender vents seal the deal as a truly beautiful supercar.

McLaren Elva

The very rare, very expensive $1.69-million McLaren Elva is an absolute stunner. A true speedster by definition, the two-seat, open-top supercar gets some signature McLaren styling cues on the front end, like the slim headlights and the aggressive, rounded nose. But this car is unique for the most part, with design cues we haven't seen elsewhere in the McLaren lineup

Polestar 1

Sure, the Polestar 1 is pretty much just a sleeker Volvo – but it wears the Swedish brand's design language exceptionally well. The "Thor's Hammer" headlights, slim grille, and C-shaped tail lights give way to a smooth, slinky profile. And while Polestar 1 loses its rear doors, it gains wider hips, giving the hybrid coupe's rear a unique shape.

Porsche Taycan

We could've selected a few Porsches for this list, honestly, but the Taycan is the standout of the bunch. This car takes electric vehicle styling to a whole new level, with a unique quad-LED headlight fixture, a coupe-like profile (even though it has four doors), and an accentuating light bar out back. We’ll take ours in Frozen Blue Metallic, please.

Ram 1500

The Ram 1500 is the only truck on this list, but the fifth-generation pickup is a handsome thing. With much-improved styling over its predecessor, it has a number of definitive cues, like a rectangular grille with the centralized "RAM" wordmark and a minimalistic rear design with the Ram logo out back (or the wordmark there, too, if you get the Rebel model). The Ram 1500 is just a handsome vehicle all-around.

Volvo S60

The latest version of the Volvo S60 is the sleekest take of the Swedish sedan to date. We rank it second only to the Giulia in the class. The S60 sports the brand's trademark front fascia, with “Thor's Hammer” headlights and a rectangular grille, as well as the signature C-shaped taillights in the rear. And proportionally, the S60 is pretty much perfect compared to the longer S90 and its extended-roof sibling, the V60.
